To investigate the origin and nature of the Lumps or Bumps.
Typical lumps are skin lesions e.g., epidermal inclusion cysts (sebaceous cysts) and lipomata (fatty lumps). Referrals may also be for suspected Muscle Tears, Necrotic Tissue, Ganglions, Fibroma, Seroma, Haematoma, Arthritis presenting as a lump, Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumours & Foreign bodies.
No specific preparation, except to wear clothing which allows easy access to the area of interest.
