- Ultrasound scans cannot detect all diseases or determine the cause of all symptoms or discomfort.
- Ultrasound may not be able to image some deep structures due to raised Body Mass Index (BMI), excess bowel gas or structures in or hidden by bones. Alternative investigations may be more appropriate. If in doubt; consult your GP or Clinician.
- The accuracy or detail of your ultrasound scan may be affected by bowel gas and lack of adequate preparation. It is essential to follow the preparation instructions for your scan. This may involve filling your bladder and / or fasting. Specific instructions will be provided with your appointment details. Failure to follow instructions may result in limited scan.
CareHealth Ltd does not have access to your medical documents or history and also does not provide medical advice. CareHealth will always advise you to seek medical advice from your General Practitioner or Clinician.
